How You’ll Impact
As Store Manager, you are not just running a store — you are leading a luxury destination. You will inspire and develop your team, drive business through client development and repeat engagement, and represent Maria Tash as a brand ambassador in Los Angeles. Your leadership will ensure that every client experience reflects the artistry, exclusivity, and innovation that have made Maria Tash the leader in fine jewelry and piercing.
What You’ll Do
Lead, coach, and inspire Assistant Managers, Supervisors, Stylists, and Sales Team. Partner with Head Piercer and Assistant Head Piercer on scheduling, staffing, and coverage. Build a culture of excellence and accountability through coaching, recognition, and growth opportunities. Conduct regular trainings and team meetings to align on styling expertise, piercing care, and brand standards. Recruit, onboard, and retain talent with an eye for future leaders. Develop Head Piercers and Assistant Head Piercers in leadership capabilities and team management. Inspire associates to act as trusted advisors and brand storytellers, elevating transactions into long-term relationships.
Drive achievement of fiscal plans, sales targets, and key KPIs through proactive clienteling. Lead by example in cultivating personal client books and nurturing repeat business, with a focus on VIP, celebrity, and high-net-worth clientele. Ensure CRM systems and clienteling tools are fully leveraged to capture preferences, track purchases, and drive re-engagement. Partner with marketing and regional leadership to host exclusive in-store events, trunk shows, and private client appointments. Represent Maria Tash at external activations (pop-ups, collaborations, store openings). Champion our proprietary styling methodology, ensuring each client receives curated, artistic looks that reflect individuality.
Operational Excellence
Oversee daily operations, including inventory, facilities, and security protocols. Ensure compliance with client data protection and jewelry handling standards. Partner with Operations Managers and concession hosts to maintain brand integrity in all spaces. Lead operational readiness for high-traffic periods, events, and seasonal demands.
Client Experience & Brand Ambassadorship
Guarantee a seamless luxury client journey across all touchpoints. Elevate service standards by empowering stylists to provide expert guidance on styling, piercing, healing, and jewelry care. Resolve escalated service issues with discretion and diplomacy. Serve as a visible brand ambassador, nurturing community presence, local tastemaker relationships, and celebrity engagement. Uphold Maria Tash’s reputation as the leader in fine jewelry piercing, merging artistry and service excellence.
Who You Are
3–4 years’ experience in luxury retail, jewelry, or client-facing environments.
2–4 years’ leadership experience managing sales and service teams.
Proven ability to drive business through client development, repeat sales, and VIP relationship management.
Experience using CRM systems and clienteling tools to build high-value relationships.
Results-driven leader with excellent communication, collaboration, and people development skills.
Passionate about creating exceptional client experiences and cultivating a strong team culture.
