Job Summary: Oversee, plan, monitor and manage teams supporting the Domestic Supply Chain. Lead departmental process improvements for continuous efficiency gains for multiple teams. Promote alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization. Responsibilities
Provide direction to multiple teams in the Domestic Supply Chain driven by core KPIs. Analyze, resolve, or escalate inventory issues. Ensure daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks of Supply Chain teams meet standards. Confirm SOPs are kept up to date. Analyze exceptions to root causes, identify process gaps, and offer solutions to team members and senior leaders. Communicate to senior management supply chain and service issues with short and long-term recommendations on resolution. Establish critical inventory parameters such as Safety Stock settings, taking into account lead time and order cycle time to drive the optimal inventory level to meet KPIs. Escalate for internal manufacturing operations, customer service, and sales as needed. Prepare and present forward-looking projections of inventory, volume, service, planning, capacity, and space considerations. Ensure system parameters are correct and manage communication between teams. Prepare data-driven materials for presentations to report against metrics and gauge efficiencies. Provide mentorship and development of team skills across the organization. Management responsibilities may include supervising professional or non-professional employees, day-to-day operations of a group of employees, and contributing to budgetary impact; interpret and execute policies for departments or projects. Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies; provide guidelines and parameters for staff functioning; hire staff, perform pay decisions, conduct performance reviews, train and develop staff, estimate personnel needs, assign work, and ensure consistent application of organizational policies. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, or related field. Preferred Qualifications: 6 years of manufacturing, distribution or purchasing experience; knowledge of MRP, buying, demand management and forecasting; at least 4 years of direct people management experience (hiring, developing, motivating and directing staff). Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, percentages, business statistics, and volume. Work is primarily in an office setting; occasional travel up to 10% may be required. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting). APICS experience in procurement, inventory planning, and/or demand planning; experience with SAP and Tableau. The anticipated salary range for this position: $110,240.00 - $165,360.00 Annual. The actual salary will vary based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
