Our client is a growing middle-market manufacturing/distribution enterprise with growing maintenance and repair services business serving the aerospace, defense, military and government sectors. The business has recently been acquired by a prominent, growth-focused financial sponsor with plans to drive significant growth through organic and acquisitive means. This is an entrepreneurial, hands-on environment that requires a transformational, process-oriented operations leader to drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement-based transformational change in the organization. You will professionalize operations and introduce data-driven decision-making with a focus on measurable accountability through meaningful KPIs and dashboard analytics. You will oversee all day-to-day operations across multiple facilities and support significant growth as the business expands its geographic footprint on a national scale. Responsibilities
Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives in a middle-market, entrepreneurial context. Lead the introduction of data-driven decision-making with measurable KPIs and dashboard analytics to track performance and accountability. Professionalize operations and implement best practices to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality across multiple facilities. Oversee day-to-day operations and support geographic expansion to a national footprint. Mentor and transform culture within the operations function and interface collaboratively across the organization. Qualifications
Experience in continuous improvement-led corporate cultures and implementation of lean manufacturing and operational efficiency initiatives in middle-market settings. Strong communications and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor teams and drive culture change in operations.
