Senior Environmental Advisor - Building Sciences Project Manager

Overview
EFI Global is a full-service engineering, fire investigation, environmental, health and safety, and specialty consulting services firm serving a variety of industries in both the public and private sectors. We provide engineering failure analysis, origin-and-cause investigations, environmental consulting, laboratory testing and related services. This role supports field assignments, technical oversight and assessments, collaborative report preparation and administrative duties in a hybrid/remote environment that may require travel (local or regional). Ideal candidate will have experience in client management and accounts, including oversight of expectations, scope preparation and deliverables. Primary Purpose
To autonomously test, analyze, survey, interpret, and report on information/data collected relative to project assignments in a timely manner and within the financial constraints of budget and contractual obligations. Responsibilities
Mentor and provide guidance to project managers. Plan, develop, coordinate, implement, and direct projects within fields of expertise. Interpret field data and laboratory results; summarize data and prepare reports. Review the work output of others to meet or exceed client expectations and contractual obligations. Meet or exceed productivity levels as determined by management. Promote EFI Global capabilities to expand business opportunities; assist in business development and marketing. Complete project tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures and ensure scope of work is fulfilled. Advise supervisor of deviations from standards or scope and recommend appropriate actions. Comply with company and OSHA safety programs and use of PPE. Assist in budgeting and the invoicing process. Perform other duties as assigned and support the organization’s quality programs. Travel as required. Qualifications
Education & Licensing Preferred Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Construction or Building Science, or related disciplines. Preferred training certificates or licensure, such as: Individual Asbestos Consultant or Texas licensure as Asbestos Inspector/Project Manager, and Air Monitoring Technician (with NIOSH 582 training). Texas Lead-Based Paint Inspector, Texas Mold Assessment Technician or Mold Assessment Consultant; related licenses in other states are a plus. Valid driver’s license with clean driving history. Experience Eight (8) years of related and practical work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills & Knowledge Extensive knowledge in Environmental Services or related specialty; strong report writing and presentation skills. Excellent oral and written communication; PC literacy (Microsoft Office). Analytical and interpretive abilities; strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Proven management/leadership abilities; ability to work in a team environment; ability to meet or exceed performance competencies. Work Environment
