Title: Operator Specialist Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA Starting Pay Rate/Range: $22.17 - $29.93 Shift: 2nd (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM) Benefits

Operate In-line machine at a rate that equals or exceeds quality and production standards Troubleshoot routine process problems, and assist with tooling and product changeovers Maintain adequate supplies for all line equipment to ensure continual operation Follow all Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards and Safe Work Practices Maintain work area in an organized, safe and clean manner; Knowledge of 6S a plus Know locations of/operations emergency stop buttons and fire extinguishers in your area Fully train new Operator Specialist to effective performance levels, using training checklists Provide relief to other members of team as necessary Able to perform Packaging Associate functions as needed Complete required quality checks and production reports in an efficient and timely manner Produce Quality rolls and formed product that conforms to all quality and profile specifications Maintain accurate account of all poundage produced on extruder Responsible for accurately completing and processing all documents necessary for tracking Extrusion operations, including condition sheets as needed Make process changes and roll changes Change screens on every roll during a color change and/or as needed Handle Extruder maintenance according to Standard Operating Procedures Inspect quality to regrind prior to use Ensure quality of raw material going into the crystallizer, mixer and dryer meets company guidelines Communicate all pertinent information at shift change Operate a forklift Qualifications
Grade 10 or equivalent education; up to and including 6 months of related training or experience Minimum Operator Associate (either Thermoforming or Extrusion) Certification Must not have more than 4 Attendance points Must not have any active Step 2 disciplinary action write-ups Additional Information
