The following position is to join our

Enterprise Services Procurement

organization as a

Procurement Manager

(note: this role is for an individual contributor position) to lead the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services for complex test equipment, while managing supplier performance and purchase orders throughout their life cycle against DoD, FMS, DCS, and internal spend.

What You Will Do

Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy

Work with and review Statement of Work (SOW) documents

Preparation and issuance of request for quotations/proposals (RFQs/RFPs)

Perform price and cost analysis

Develop strategies in support of and lead formal negotiations on price, delivery, scope, and terms & conditions

Work closely with program customers and other functional groups (operations, quality, engineering, etc) to achieve objectives

Place purchase orders of medium to high complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR), corporate policy, and internal procedures

Maintain purchase orders to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information

Manage performance to meet key metrics

Serve as the escalation path for consumers or stakeholders

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience

Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar leadership role

Experience in a SAP based environment

Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services – including statement of work (SOW) review

Experience in leading formal negotiations (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual flow-down requirements, as well as standard terms and conditions)

Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)

Price Cost Analysis experience

Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment

Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal internal customers

Qualifications We Prefer

Working knowledge of Raytheon’s various supply chain systems and the SAP purchasing tools

Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Finance or STEM field

Experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry

Outstanding communication, strong presentation, and keen attention to detail

Highly organized and can effectively balance competing priorities with strong collaboration skills and the ability to operate effectively within a matrix environment

Work Location This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance from Richardson, TX or Tucson, AZ.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted. However, factors such as candidate flow and business necessity may require RTX to shorten or extend the application window.
