Prepare the first pass of the forecast for all forecast levels (where agreed) in a particular brand by using either a statistical method from our Demand Planning tool or a manually developed forecast. Execute the forecast in collaboration with the regions for all new products. Verify and ensure that the forecast is maintained monthly for a 9-month to 18-month horizon, including new products, product launches, and placeholders. This includes the expected line plan out to 15 to 18 months depending on the brand. Responsible for ABC code/lifecycle management, including providing support data to the brand team for decision making and executing on those decisions made with MDM. Develop relationships with wholesale customers to help improve the overall forecasts, including on-site visits where relevant and communicating phase-out decisions to the supply chain planning team. Interact with the brand, sales force, and account managers concerning updates to the forecast. Interact with the brand leaders and the sales teams to resolve issues and conflicts regarding the forecasts. Collaborate with Global Intercompany Logistics Planning to reflect supply changes or issues in the demand plan. Manage the S&OP meeting process. Organize the monthly forecasting cycle for all primary forecasters detailing deadlines, expectations, and rules that must be followed. Track purchase orders and requisitions versus the approved open-to-buy to ensure compliance. Validate the forecast against the budget to arrive at an approved SKU forecast for loading into SAP. Analyze selling performance reports to identify trends and issues within the forecast for the brand leaders, sales teams, and other teams as appropriate. Analyze the demand forecast to ensure alignment with product mix, core SKUs, new product launches, phase-outs, budget, line plan, forecast level, market, and minimum order quantities. Analyze inventory using on-hand inventory reports and the inventory projection tool to make recommendations for sell-through and inventory objectives. Measure and track KPIs including selling performance, consumer performance, inventory turns, and inventory days of supply. Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of related experience in a similar position Bachelor's degree in business or related field Knowledge of supply and demand principles and forecasting and demand planning techniques Understanding of channels of trade and the differences between the retail and wholesale business Knowledge of procurement process Strong analytical decision-making skills Results-oriented High energy and strong work ethic Influence and negotiation skills High degree of customer focus Focus on teamwork and relationship building Focus on integrity and ethics Ability to work in a collaborative planning environment Comfortable in a diverse global planning environment SAP skills required Knowledgeable of SAP, including SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) The base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 per year. Base salary is determined by individualized factors such as experience and market location.
