The Quality Assurance Inspector I is primarily responsible for inspecting products at various stages of the production process and compiling and evaluating statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties personally or through associates. Responsibilities
Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications
Conducting visual and measurement tests Accepting/rejecting product using tools such as calipers, thread gauge, pin gauges
Approves in-process production by confirming specifications
Conducting visual and measurement tests Communicating required adjustments to production supervisor
Approves finished products by confirming specifications
Conducting visual and measurement tests Returning products for re-work Confirming re-work
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs
Summarize re-work and waste
Follows soldering and assembly workmanship standards Complies with company standards associated with ISO 9001 and AS9100 Identifies errors in existing production documentation and assists quality and engineering staff to execute corrective action Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
Complying with legal regulations
Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed Requirements
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent education 2+ years working in an electronics manufacturing environment Past experience working for an ISO certified manufacturing company Technical Competencies
Manufacturing ERP software knowledge Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written High attention to detail and willingness to identify faults in existing practices and suggest superior solutions to Marki QA procedures Ability to communicate effectively with assembly staff and in making presentations to supervisors Core Competencies
