The Associate Director will play a pivotal role in advancing the data strategy that powers personalized, compliant, and insight-driven patient support experiences. This role combines strategic planning, marketing analytics, and data governance to support CRM transformation, market research, and business performance tracking.
Responsibilities Data Strategy & Governance
Support the implementation of a comprehensive data strategy for patient services, including data capture, integration, quality, and stewardship.
Collaborate with IT, Privacy, Legal, and Compliance to ensure data practices align with HIPAA and enterprise standards.
Serve as a liaison for data governance initiatives, helping to operationalize policies and frameworks.
Support the development and execution of J&J's patient engagement AI strategy.
CRM & Platform Enablement
Define data requirements for the next-generation CRM (e.g., Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud).
Translate business needs into data architecture and reporting capabilities that enable omnichannel personalization and real-time insights.
Support platform testing, validation, and rollout activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Patient Experience, Access, Medical, and Commercial teams to align data strategy with business objectives.
Collaborate with analytics and insights teams to ensure data is actionable and supports performance measurement.
Manage key relationships with agencies and suppliers for concept development and market research execution.
Execution & Program Management
Drive execution of data-related initiatives, including roadmap development, milestone tracking, and vendor coordination.
Ensure the implementation and maintenance of key marketing vehicles such as eBusiness strategy, promotional media, forecasting, and business plans.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in data science, public health, business, or related field preferred.
6+ years of experience in patient data strategy, CRM, analytics, or strategic marketing—preferably in healthcare or life sciences.
Strong understanding of data privacy, governance, and compliance frameworks.
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is a plus.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and influence without authority.

Compensation and Benefits The anticipated base pay range for this position is
$120,000 to $207,000 .
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
Employees and/or eligible dependents may participate in Company-sponsored benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance) and may participate in the consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Time off benefits include:
Vacation
up to 120 hours/year;
Sick time
up to 40 hours/year (Washington state: up to 56 hours);
Holiday pay
up to 13 days/year, plus Floating Holidays;
Work, Personal and Family Time
up to 40 hours/year.
