Optomi, in partnership with a global leader in media and entertainment, is seeking a

Technical Product Owner / Product Manager

to drive API-first, workflow-driven, and developer-facing platform services within their studio technology group. This role is central to enabling intelligent, scalable, and interoperable systems that power a digital supply chain used by millions. We’re looking for a product professional with strong technical fluency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to bridge business needs with engineering execution. Long-term contract opportunity (through 2026 roadmap) with strong potential for continued impact. Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in Glendale, CA (GC3 campus). What you bring:

Product management background

(not project/program/Scrum Master pivot). Technical fluency in

APIs, workflows, and developer platform services . Experience writing/refining

user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog prioritization . Hands-on experience with

sprint planning, quality metrics, and continuous improvement . Strong collaboration skills with ability to tailor communication across stakeholders (from engineers to senior executives). Ability to proactively build relationships and operate with low oversight in fast-paced, high-visibility environments. What you’ll do:

Define and maintain product roadmap aligned with 2026 platform vision. Translate user needs and pain points into API definitions, workflows, and backlog items. Own backlog cleanup, sprint planning, and delivery of high-quality user stories and epics. Partner with engineering on trade-offs, dependencies, and system-level design. Drive adoption of product metrics, continuous improvement, and stakeholder communication. Represent the product in roadmap reviews and stakeholder meetings with clarity, empathy, and accountability.
