Job Summary The Store Manager will be responsible for managing a retail store and selling products manufactured by the company. You\'ll apply creativity to sales promotions, merchandising, and pricing policies. The Store Manager will supervise employees engaged in sales work, manage inventories, reconcile cash with sales receipts, maintain operating records, and prepare daily transaction records for accounting.
Job Location This is an onsite role based out of our site in Longwood, FL.
Job Responsibilities
Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties
Formulates pricing policies on merchandise to ensure profitability of store operations
Coordinates sales promotion activities
Directs workers in preparing merchandise displays and advertising
Orders merchandise or prepares requisitions to replenish merchandise on hand
Ensures compliance with security, sales, and recordkeeping procedures
Responds to customer complaints or inquiries
Locks and secures the store
Job Requirements
Associate\'s degree or 2 years of college/technical school and 2+ years progressively responsible sales experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
2+ years of experience in retail sales or related functions
Proven customer service skills
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with customers, employees, and management
