We are seeking an experienced
Product Owner with strong Master Data Management (MDM) expertise
to lead and drive data governance and master data initiatives. The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and data stewards to ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and compliant MDM solutions. Key Responsibilities
Define and own the MDM product vision, roadmap, and strategy, aligning with business and IT goals. Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements for MDM initiatives. Maintain and manage the MDM product backlog, ensuring clear and actionable user stories. Partner with engineering and data teams to design and deliver MDM solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements. Ensure data governance, data quality, and compliance standards are built into MDM processes. Act as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment on requirements and deliverables. Track and report on key product KPIs related to MDM adoption, data quality, and business value. Provide thought leadership on MDM best practices, tools, and industry trends. Must-Have Skills
8-10 years of total experience with at least 5+ years as a Product Owner in MDM / Data Governance / Data Management initiatives. Strong expertise in Master Data Management concepts, tools, and processes (Informatica MDM, Reltio, SAP MDG, or similar). Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology, backlog management, and sprint planning. Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data stewardship practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements. Preferred Skills
Prior experience in banking, financial services, or manufacturing industries. Knowledge of cloud-based MDM solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Certifications in Scrum Product Owner (CSPO/PSPO) or equivalent.
