Overview The Director of Delaware Services is responsible for the oversight and operation of all of Northeast Treatment Center’s Delaware programs. This includes Observation, Clinically Managed Residential, Medically Managed Residential, Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient levels of care. This position serves as a day-to-day point of leadership and direction for the Delaware Programs. The Director of Delaware Services reports directly to the VP of Delaware Addiction Services. This position provides oversight of operations, staff (administrative, clinical and medical), and ensures adherence to policies and regulations that govern the programs. This position ensures all programs remain in compliance with all Organizational, State and Federal agencies and requirements. The Director of Delaware Services is responsible for ensuring all levels of care provided in Delaware are operating properly and meeting all productivity benchmarks. This includes both budgetary benchmarks as well as meeting all standards for external audits.

Responsibilities

Lead Delaware Programs and Staff daily.

Work with a team to support consumers effectively.

Ensure programs meet all guidelines for quality services.

Build and maintain relationships with other Behavioral Health agencies.

Maintain positive connections with state partners at DSAM and DHSS.

Track financial goals to stay within budget.

Provide weekly updates to the VP of Delaware Services.

Write and submit grant proposals as needed.

Collect and report grant information internally and externally.

Manage grant budgets carefully with detailed records.

Submit required reports to the state.

Create growth plans for the agency through grants.

Help develop and update objectives, policies, and quality assurance for medical services, reviewing annually.

Create action plans based on program audits.

Develop forms with the electronic health record administrator.

Assist in planning and budgeting for medical services.

Help write job descriptions, review credentials, and hire medical staff.

Ensure staffing and create schedules.

Communicate routine issues with NET departments.

Participate in meetings to ensure high-quality care for clients.

Evaluate medical services for quality assurance and compliance with standards and requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in psychology, social work, counseling, nursing, or a related field of study and five (5) years documented clinical experience in the substance abuse treatment field.

3 to 5 years of clinical experience in addiction treatment is required; management experience is preferred

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and all tele-meeting platforms

Experience working with an electronic health record is preferred

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Advanced oral and written communication skills as well as high-level problem solving skills

Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely and accurate fashion in a fast-paced environment

Valid Driver’s License issued in Delaware
