Director of Property Management

A locally owned commercial real estate firm in Charleston is seeking a Director of Property Management to lead and grow a team while managing a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate properties. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing property operations, tenant relations, and financial performance, while also supporting and developing a team of property managers. The ideal candidate will bring at least seven years of commercial property management experience, including five or more in a senior or leadership capacity. A bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field is preferred, along with strong financial and operational acumen and the ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets. Experience with property management software such as Yardi, MRI, or Building Engines is vital to the role. Professional certifications such as CPM, RPA, or CCIM are preferred but not mandatory. This role requires resilience, critical thinking, and the ability to build strong relationships. The Director will be based in Charleston and work both on-site. The position offers a salary up to $110,000 plus benefits, PTO, 401k, healthcare, and bonus potential.
