Responsibilities

The TPM III for Launch Operations/Kuiper Government Services will act as the Single Threaded Owner for inputs and outputs to Launch Operations for KGS and Hosted Payload Services, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to integrate Kuiper satellites for KGS/HPS with dispenser and launch vehicle hardware. Provide technical leadership on KGS/HPS initiatives including testing requirements, assembly/integration work cell design or modifications within payload processing facilities, facility and equipment planning, integration and test application implementation and improvement, process control, and design for manufacturability. Coordinate with Launch Operations/Mission Management to own Launch Provider relationships, Dispenser provider relationships, and Payload Processing Facility leadership; reach back to Kuiper Commercial services engineering teams; serve as the Launch Operations liaison for KGS/HPS leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to challenge assumptions and requirements related to dynamics, thermal analysis, design engineering, and tooling engineering. Own coordination across the organization to facilitate KGS/HPS satellite launches. Day-to-day management of deliverables, dependencies and schedule; establish processes to track goals, objectives, milestones, progress and risks; drive organizational alignment on trade-offs and priorities. Establish and lead an ongoing launch readiness program to systematically drive progress and complete critical program milestones. Identify and operationalize metrics and KPIs to track progress and drive issue resolution and mitigation across the organization. Location: This role is based in Bellevue, WA or Kennedy Space Center, FL and candidate will be onsite with no location flexibility. Basic Qualifications

5+ years of technical product or program management experience 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications

The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
