The Senior Logistics Analyst (SLA) will provide Naval Forces Logistics (NFL) tasking support at COMNAVSURFPAC (CNSP) located at Naval Base San Diego, CA. The SLA will provide Food Service Policy Support to all CNSP activities. Collect and analyze ship provided Food Service reporting metrics. Initiate correspondence to ships to resolve discrepancies. Review Navy Standard Core Menu selections. Coordinate with CNSP and ships to recommend changes. Conduct analysis of individual items required for the Core Menus. Gather individual item demand data from ships. Review deployed/C2X ships contingency menu load out and fill rates. Analyze submitted MILSTRIPS and send guidance for corrective action prior to FLC fill. Provide Push Logistics support to CNSP ships. Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related business discipline, or eight years of hands-on experience in a combination of automated supply/maintenance management. Navy schools training considered hands-on experience. Eight years of experience with logistics, inventory management, financial management and the functionality of automated supply systems. Automated supply systems refers to Food Service Management System (FSM). Expert level knowledge with MS Office Suite products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Current DoD SECRET Security Clearance.

Desired:

Possess strong verbal and writing skills to effectively prepare, update and brief daily reports.
