Compensation: $18.10 - $23.90 per hour (actual rate aligns with local minimum wage requirements). Annual, quarterly performance bonuses or premiums may be paid per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with employer contributions starting Day One, paid time off, and additional programs. Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities
Follow and promote company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.). Greet customers, assist in selecting merchandise, and provide excellent service to both retail and professional customers. Assist store management and installers as needed; complete required company training. Answer store phone calls, lookup parts, quote prices, recommend products, and offer Low-Price Guarantee in accordance with policy. Maintain and secure cash drawer; process cash, checks, change, and credit card transactions. Process exchanges/returns per company policies; address customer complaints in a friendly manner. Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates; manage freight receival, stocking, cleaning, and merchandising tasks. Perform daily operational tasks such as preparing returns to distribution center and participating in inventory activities. Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training and required approvals. Provide in-store services as allowed by state and local laws (e.g., install wipers, test batteries, diagnose vehicle issues). Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle as needed, if driving eligibility requirements are met. Other duties as assigned. Skills / Education / Experience / Abilities
Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; outstanding, friendly, professional customer service; ability to multitask with in-person and phone interactions. Desired: Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales/service; ASE certification; multilingual ability (Spanish highly desired). Seniority level
