General Position Summary Responsibilities and duties include the following (not all-inclusive): Produce sales gains, by providing customer service. Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics. Provide consistent, documented appraisal of an associate’s sales performance. Give feedback on areas of strength and opportunity while aligning with Company Objectives. Adhere to current visual guidelines including proper merchandising, signage and store cleanliness. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy. Principal Duties And Responsibilities Generate Sales — Produce sales gains, by providing customer service; meet or exceed Company Objectives; provide feedback on performance; maintain visual standards; uphold dress code. Control Expenses — Protect company assets; assist in store scheduling; manage inventory including receiving, transferring, price changes and counts; proper documentation and record keeping; open/close the store per Operations P&P Manual; adhere to policies. Additional Principal Duties — Supervise associates; participate in training; recruit and train store personnel; ensure compliance with policies; communicate with employees at all levels; perform duties as assigned. Job Required Knowledge & Skills High school diploma or equivalent plus one year relative experience. Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Computer proficiency and ability to use related software. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead. Standing required for up to 100% of the work time. Ability to work unsupervised. Preferred Job Related Knowledge & Skills Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Assistant Store Manager PT are also eligible for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount.
