Summary Location:
Hybrid from Chicago, IL
As part of the Core Product Management Team, the Product Manager is responsible for management of products, identifying and advancing intervention opportunities utilizing strategic marketing principles. This position will have high cross functional interaction and shared accountability with Segments, Sales, MFG, Supply Chain, and R&D.
What You’ll Do
Provide scope for problem solving and strategic alignment
Lead cross-functional teams and can leverage those groups for product lead initiatives
Make decisions and direct the business based on insights from analysis
Influence others to significantly impact work streams and project priorities based on opportunities
Identify broader market opportunities and develop high level market assessment initiatives
Develop value creation recommendations for product, price, place and promotion
Be the voice of the customer
Diagnose existing strategy effectiveness
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, Engineering or related field
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
3-5 years of experience in product or brand management, and/or channel marketing in a consumer durable goods related industry
Experiencing managing product, place, price and promotion
Proven project management experience in a cross-functional environment
Business to business plus business to consumer marketing experience (preferred)
Innovation Mindset, Decision Support & Advisory
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Problem Solving Skills, Communication (Internal, External, Storytelling)
Sales, Marketing and or business development experience (preferred)
What You’ll Receive As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $126,000.00 to $164,000.00. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position qualifies for benefits, and you will be eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
