Front Desk Receptionist
to support our growing practice.
This is
a
part-time position
with room to grow, as we are currently expanding our team of acupuncturists and massage therapists.

Bachelor's degree (preferred, not required) 3+ years of customer service experience 3+ years of front desk or administrative experience in a healthcare or wellness setting (preferred)

Responsibilities
• Schedule and manage appointments between patients and practitioners. • Assisting practitioners when they are busy with treatment room maintenance and cleaning cups, and various tasks. • Manage social media for the practice, including Facebook, Instagram, Nextdoor, etc. • Give every employee, client, and visitor a warm welcome at the front desk and communicate any important information or directions • Assure incoming and outgoing mail is managed appropriately and handle deliveries • Answer phone calls and emails and communicate relevant information to the appropriate parties • Ensure the security of the building by having visitors follow necessary sign-in protocol • Assist with other administrative tasks, such as data entry, copying, filing etc.
Qualifications
• Three or more years of service in a variety of front office roles in the medical field. • Highly motivated, customer service-oriented personality who understands the value of the "patient experience". • In-depth understanding of how to productively schedule patients. • Exceptional communication skills- both conversational and written. • History of meeting goals/ deadlines as well as performing well under pressure. • Knowledge of general computer skills, including Google Sheets. • Ability to learn new computer skills, namely our EMR called Jane. • Incredible organizational skills on both the computer and with the files. • Strong desire to be an integral part of a team. • Social Media Skills. • Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office • Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational, and customer service skills • High school graduate, G.E.D. recipient, or equivalent • 1 year of experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, guest service specialist, or similar position preferred
