This position manages the workflow of the School, while exercising discretion and judgment and performing a variety of complex and confidential administrative support duties. This role exercises primary responsibility for several administrative functions including appointments of faculty, staff, and students, budget planning and tracking, and expense processing for the School. The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is $60,000-70,000. Responsibilities

Serves as the primary point of contact and liaison to the Office of the Provost, Office of Human Resources, and Office of Budget and Financial Planning to manage daily logistics Work with the Busch School’s Dean and Associate Dean to ensure the integrity of the School’s financial statements, assist with the preparation and oversight of operating and designated budgets by fund and organization, and interpret key University reports Assist Busch School personnel in understanding their budgets and spending authority and assist academic and non-academic units in creating financials for new programs Act as the initial contact for staff and faculty to troubleshoot administrative problems Processes administrative forms, including PBRs, direct payment requests, interdepartmental charges requests, expense and fund transfer requests, EDFs, sEDFs, and faculty contracts Serves as Administrative Assistant to the Deans and Associate Deans Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree 2+ years of college, postgraduate employment or exceptional undergraduate academic performance Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite Must also possess effective organizational skills, verbal/written communication skills, and appropriate interpersonal skills Must be detail oriented, maintain a professional demeanor at all times, be able to work within deadlines, and be a team player Demonstrated organizational, problem solving, project management, and sound judgment skills needed The Catholic University of America is an equal opportunity employer.
