Performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. Performs packaging line and manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated. Responsibilities
Provide immediate quality feedback to SMT operators while running the line. Scan findings in quality tool. Perform FA (First Articles). Read and interpret work instructions, Deviations, BOMs, Travelers, etc. Assist other areas such as TLA inspection, Final QC, Final Kit Audit Verification. Education and Experience
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in SMT Quality Assurance/Inspection per IPC-610 class 2,3 (PCBA and Mechanical components). Experience in feeder verification on and off line. Knowledge in component ID, polarity verification, workmanship inspection, part value verification using digital meter. Experience using microscopes, Ohm meters, manual and stationary magnifying glass. Good written and verbal communication. Computer literate. Salary and Benefits
Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr. Salary range (annual): $42,000 - $53,000 ($20 - $25 hourly). Actual base pay within this range will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is part of the total rewards package. Benefits include health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays and PTO for vacation or personal business, and may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program depending on the role.
