Director of Photography

to lead the photography team, shoot live events, manage photoshoots, maintain the photo archive, and contribute to the overall creative team. The role reports to the Chief Creative Officer and works with the creative department as well as marketing, development, administration and the individual sports programs. This position serves a large student and staff population and requires a commitment to non-discrimination and equal opportunity for all. It is an exempt position with work that may include weekends, nights and travel, but with flexible hours. Roles And Responsibilities

Hiring and leading the team of photographers Shooting live events Conceiving and executing photoshoots Maintaining the photo archive Contributing to the overall creative team as needed Performs other related duties as assigned or requested; the University reserves the right to add or change duties at any time Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) and two years of experience (four years preferred); combined experience/education may substitute for minimum education Proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Photo Mechanic Experience working in higher education and/or a sports-related field is ideal Strong commitment to USC’s Unifying Values Salary

The annual base salary range for this position is

$110,000 – $115,000 . Salary is determined based on factors including scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, internal alignment, and applicable laws and external considerations. To Apply
