Overview
We are seeking a passionate and relational High School Pastor/Director to lead our 9th–12th grade students into deeper relationships with Jesus, authentic community, and lives marked by purpose and mission. This leader will champion a ministry culture where students are known, valued, connected, and actively discipled in Jesus. In alignment with ACF’s mission and values, the High School Pastor/Director will also mobilize students and serve teams to live out the mission of Jesus—reaching "one more" with the hope and grace of the gospel. Responsibilities
Lead Weekly Student Gatherings:
Plan and execute Sunday evening high school experiences that are fun, spiritually engaging, and relevant to Gen Z and Gen Alpha. Build a Discipleship Culture:
Develop systems that help students grow through small groups, mentoring, and spiritual habits. Develop Student Leaders:
Equip students to lead in their schools, serve in the church, and live on mission in their world. Recruit & Develop Volunteers:
Build and support a healthy volunteer team that shares ownership of student discipleship. Partner with Parents:
Communicate regularly, host parent connection events, and provide support as they raise teens to follow Jesus. Plan Strategic Events:
Oversee retreats, mission trips (including our annual Mexico mission), and local outreach experiences. Collaborate Across Teams:
Work closely with youth, worship, and communications staff to keep ministries aligned and effective. Use Systems for Follow-Through:
Utilize tools like Planning Center, ProPresenter, and social media to manage communication and planning. Qualifications
A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with ACF’s mission and values. 3+ years experience in youth ministry (preferred). Strong communicator—both on stage and one-on-one. Relational and approachable, especially with students, parents, and volunteers. Emotionally intelligent, self-aware, and humble in leadership. Organized and proactive with ministry planning and systems. Bachelor's degree in ministry, theology, or related field (preferred, not required).
