– you will be responsible for the overall strategy, leadership and direction of MCW and Froedtert Hospital's annual giving program. By utilizing best practices, the Director-Annual Giving balances high-level strategy with tactical execution to create and implement fundraising solicitations, identify and cultivate prospects, and build a pipeline for major giving. Responsibilities include alumni giving, faculty/staff giving and grateful patient giving. All remote work must be performed within one of MCW registered payroll states: WI, AZ, FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, TN, TX, and UT. Responsibilities

Execute a multi-channel annual giving fundraising program each year, utilizing direct mail, email, texting, social media, crowdfunding, video, and other communication channels. Coordinate and manage a comprehensive solicitation calendar that interfaces with the overall communication strategy for MCW/Froedtert Hospital. Partner with colleagues, particularly gift officers, to execute targeted solicitations and campaigns. Contribute to building and stewarding the donor pipeline. Design and execute strategies to maximize donor retention and move entry-level annual giving donors from the first gift to leadership ($10K+) and major gift ($100K+) levels. Utilize data to develop and deploy fundraising strategies that optimize results. Develop and monitor metrics to achieve annual giving goals, including total giving, alumni donor participation, donor retention, and performance by appeal, segment and channel. Coordinate the development of solicitation content and package design for all communication channels. Collaborate with Advancement colleagues to build a culture of philanthropy. Develop and manage the leadership annual giving pool. Be accountable to annual performance goals such as number of donors, retention and reactivation of past donors, and donor pipeline growth. Collaborate with staff and faculty leadership across MCW and Froedtert Hospital to implement a robust internal giving campaign. Manage one FTE responsible for annual giving program execution. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Demonstrated success in managing multi-channel fundraising campaigns. Demonstrated significant growth in fundraising revenue in roles with progressive responsibility. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communications skills. Ability to manage in a complex organization and build strong relationships with internal and external constituencies. Experience with data analysis related to marketing campaigns and trends. Expert knowledge of fundraising concepts, techniques and procedures. Preferred experience with campaigns. Target salary range for this position is between $80,300 and $102,300 annually. The final offered salary will depend on education, experience, skills and knowledge, as well as internal equity and market alignment. Preferred Schedule

Minimum Qualifications:

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis. Minimum education:

Bachelor’s Degree Minimum experience:

5 years; preferably in Philanthropy Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree preferred; 8 years in Philanthropy. Experience in stewardship, prospect research, annual giving, or philanthropy communications/media. Proven leadership/team management experience in higher education and/or healthcare. Internet research, database query and reporting experience. Why MCW?
