Our client, a respected environmental consulting firm, is seeking a highly skilled
Environmental Engineer
with a
Professional Engineering (PE) License
to join their growing team in Orlando, Florida. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects focused on
petroleum remediation , including soil and groundwater contamination. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of remediation systems and a hands-on approach to tackling environmental challenges. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage petroleum remediation projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Design, implement, and oversee remediation strategies, including air sparging, ozone remediation, dig & haul, and large diameter auger systems. Conduct site assessments, develop remediation plans, and prepare technical reports. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists to deliver client-focused solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Engage with stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and community representatives, to ensure project goals are met. Required Qualifications: Professional Engineering (PE) License
(required). Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in soil and groundwater remediation, specifically with petroleum contamination. Expertise in remediation technologies such as air sparging, ozone remediation, and dig & haul. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and environmental laws. Excellent communication and project management skills.
