Chaffey College is seeking applicants for the adjunct faculty pool in the Child Development and Education Department. All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for Child Development and Education instructors. Qualifications Master's degree in child development, early childhood education, human development, home economics/family and consumer studies with a specialization in child development/early childhood education or educational psychology with a specialization in child development/early childhood education; OR Bachelor's in any of the above AND a Master's in social work, educational supervision, elementary education, special education, psychology, bilingual/bicultural education, life management/ home economics, family life studies or family and consumer studies; OR The equivalent; OR A valid lifetime credential that authorizes service as a Child Development and Education Instructor in a California Community College; AND Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.
