Overview We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will assist in conceptualizing and implementing design solutions that meet our clients' needs and preferences. You will work closely with senior designers and the design team to gather requirements, create design presentations, and execute projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate has a passion for interior design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to transform spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.
Primary Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior designers and the design team to develop innovative design concepts based on client requirements and budget constraints.
Contribute to programming, develop space plans, and participate in pre-lease services to support clients in evaluating potential real estate opportunities.
Assist in creating design presentations, including mood boards, color schemes, material selection, and furniture layouts.
Conduct research on current design trends, materials, and finishes, and incorporate them into design proposals.
Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using design software.
Communicate and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of design projects.
Participate in site visits to assess project progress, provide design guidance, and address any issues that may arise.
Assist in overseeing the procurement and installation of furniture, accessories, and other design elements.
Maintain organized project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field from a 4-year CIDA accredited Interior Design program or equivalent.
Minimum of 3-5 years of related industry experience required.
Prior experience in an interior design role with Workplace / Corporate Interiors and K-12 experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Affinity Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and 3D software such as Enscape.
Strong knowledge of construction documents, codes, and regulations.
Self-starter, passionate about design.
Collaborative and team oriented. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and precision in design work.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus.
Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and creative thinking.
CPHD, LEED and/or WELL accreditations are pluses
NCIDQ certified or pursuing certification preferred or willing to pursue within next 6 months.

Salary Range: $67k to $74k
Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographical work location.
