Sommelier at LB Steak (part of Vine Hospitality). Elevate the wine program with a bold, nuanced, and unforgettable cellar and service, contributing to a refined guest experience through knowledge of wine and exemplary service. What you’ll bring to table
Certified Sommelier (Level 1 or higher) In-depth knowledge of wine regions, varietals, and pairing techniques At least 2 years of experience in a sommelier role Passion for education, both for team members and guests Detail-oriented, organized, and professional under pressure Wine List
Keeps list up to date, audits and prints new lists when necessary Maintains wine list condition and upkeep for all services Communicates wine updates to the wine and management team Responsible for monthly inventories and regular admin days Staff Training
Trains staff on wine knowledge, pairings and sales techniques Conducts regular tastings to keep the team versed on BTG offerings Orients staff to navigation of the wine list Ensures staff is informed on additions and deletions from the list Facility and Inventory
Maintain an organized and clean cellar and bottle storage in dining rooms Check in deliveries and ensure correct placement Locate all beverages correctly in Craftable Process invoices promptly and follow up on billing disputes Conduct monthly beverage inventory Adhere to security controls Set and monitor proper temperatures and controls Service
Work dinner service five nights per week Dress code: business casual Interact with guests, make recommendations and serve customers as required Execute wine service and assist in all service elements as needed Monitor wine service and train according to service manual What we offer
