A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving K-12 students with a focus on elementary and middle school ages. This contract position offers the chance to work in-person at one or two school sites. The role is based in Oakley, CA, and runs from November 6, 2025, through June 5, 2026, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in elementary and middle school settings. Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions. Provide counseling and support services aimed at enhancing student social-emotional well-being. Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to student psychological services.
Qualifications
Valid credentials as a School Psychologist. Experience working with K-12 populations, preferably at elementary and middle school levels. Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills. Excellent communication and collaborative abilities. Knowledge of current special education laws and procedures.
