Department: Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and the OHSU Center for Women's Health seeks a Perinatologist at the Assistant Professor level. The faculty position will provide clinical care at Oregon Health and Science University Hospital in Portland, Oregon, with regularly scheduled clinical coverage at contracted regional sites that may include Salem Health Hospital (Salem, OR), Hillsboro Medical Center (Hillsboro, OR), and/or PeaceHealth SW Washington (Vancouver, WA). Responsibilities

Clinical activities

– Provide comprehensive care to maternal-fetal medicine patients within a multidisciplinary team. Deliver clinical practice across the full range of maternal/fetal medicine, including inpatient and outpatient services, ultrasound, consults, procedures, and deliveries. Maintain performance in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines (e.g., American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, JCAHO, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, state and federal requirements). Administrative activities

– Participate in faculty meetings at the division and department levels. Support the division head and department chair in day-to-day operations and ongoing strategic planning. Scholarly activities

– Engage in scholarly activities, which may include education, research, grant-supported work, and presentations. Collaborate with others in research activities and participate in clinical research as needed, often with trained research support staff and senior investigators. Education

– Provide clinical education to fellows, residents, and medical students. Offer feedback and evaluation for learners in maternal-fetal medicine, particularly those in the Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program, and contribute to program development and continuous improvement. Other activities

– Opportunities for scholarly research related to perinatal medicine and potential public service or departmental/hospital administrative roles as approved by leadership. Required Qualifications

Board eligible or board certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine Eligibility for or current unrestricted Oregon and Washington medical licenses Benefits
