Must be able to motivate student athletics and maintain positive rapport with players and parents. Must be organized in management of equipment, statistics and written record. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must meet and abide by LWSD policies and guidelines, (first aid, CPR, AED, HIV, HBV, fingerprinting, Expectations for Employee Conduct class, references, orientation, and eligibility work form). Must meet minimum age requirements per the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA). Must meet WIAA experience level coach’s standards and follow their rules and regulations. Prior successful high school coaching experience. Demonstrated cooperation with school administration in promoting the total athletic program. Must be able to organize, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate practice sessions and related activities. Demonstrated proper sportsmanship responsibilities as a good role model for parents, students and fans. Must be able to communicate and enforce training rules and athletic code. Must pass criminal background check. Must be minimum of 19 years old for Assistant Coach Position. High School diploma or equivalent required. Position Details
Assistant coach for 2025-2026 school year. This is an Assistant coach level position. Season : 11/17/2025 - 2/7/2026 Certificated Stipend:
$4,675 per the season Classified hourly rate:
$19.48 per hour (240 hour calendar) There are no benefits assigned to this position. License Requirements
Proof of valid "hands on" First Aid, AED and CPR Adult & Child certification is required upon hire. On-line First Aid/AED and CPR certification is not valid Additional Requirements
