Overview Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington. With a track record in bone marrow transplantation, HIV/AIDS prevention, immunotherapy and COVID-19 vaccines, Fred Hutch is a leading biomedical research center with clinical care sites and network affiliations.

Responsibilities For this position, the applicant will utilize murine and human genetics, whole transcriptome ribosome profiling, MSR-seq, functional genomics, RNA labeling/sequencing techniques, TMT mass spectrometry, various cellular and molecular assays, and a biorepository of primary and metastatic human prostate and bladder cancer samples to understand how the translation apparatus controls normal physiology and promotes cancer phenotypes.

Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

We are looking for exceptional candidates with a recent PhD and/or MD, a record of productive research, and the ability to work independently as well as in collaborative research efforts.

Preferred Qualifications:

A strong background in murine work, high throughput methods, RNA biology, and/or computational biology are highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $77,976 to $95,014, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance.
