Position Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Research Associate to support preclinical studies in musculoskeletal biology and advanced cell culture. This role will contribute to sample processing, tissue analysis, and cutting-edge methods such as spatial transcriptomics and multi-omics. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with in vivo models and applying a wide range of molecular and cellular biology techniques. Title:

6-month contract with potential to convert to hire Key Responsibilities

Support in vivo research using mouse models, including dissection, tissue collection, and skeletal/muscle sample processing. Isolate and culture primary cells (e.g., fibroblasts, C2C12 cells, myoblasts, satellite cells). Conduct ASO/siRNA screening, multi-omics assays, and next-generation sequencing (RNA-seq, single-cell, spatial). Perform RNA/DNA/protein extractions, FFPE tissue sectioning, IHC/IF staining, fibrosis quantification, and fluorescence microscopy. Accurately document experiments in an electronic lab notebook and present data to the research team. Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular/Cell Biology or related field. Proven in vivo experience (mouse handling, dissections, tissue harvesting). Skilled in primary cell culture and differentiation. Background in RNA biology, fibrosis models, or NGS workflows strongly preferred. Ability to adapt quickly and learn new laboratory techniques.
