Department of Pharmacology . Successful candidates will join a group of supportive colleagues who conduct research across diverse disciplines, including cell signaling and growth control, gene expression and ‘omics approaches to cancer and age-related disease, host-pathogen interactions, ion channel biophysics and electrophysiology, metabolic and liver disease, pulmonary medicine and translational pharmacology, therapeutic target development and drug discovery. We value innovation, curiosity and collegiality, and seek candidates whose research addresses impactful questions in fundamental and/or translational science that complement and diversify our department’s existing strengths. Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Ph.D., M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent terminal degree.
Assistant Professor applicants should demonstrate strong postdoctoral research productivity and clear potential for developing an independent, externally funded research program. Associate Professor candidates must have a sustained record of original research and established funding. All candidates are expected to contribute to teaching graduate and medical students in biomedical sciences. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience.
