Overview Be among the first 25 applicants. Be a Senior Product Designer on the Seller Experience team at eBay, helping define the future of eBay’s selling platform. You will work on critical selling jobs to be done, including managing active listings, fulfilling orders, and accelerating sales. You’ll design scalable experiences for sellers of all sizes and experience levels, balancing established behaviors with opportunities for radical innovation.

This role requires a strong systems thinker, an advocate for seller needs, and a craftsperson with a keen eye for modern, high-quality UX. You should partner closely with product, engineering, research, content strategy, and brand teams to bring new experiences to life.

Responsibilities

Define experience architectures and interaction models for all seller segments across web and native platforms.

Raise the bar for experience quality through compelling interaction, visual, and micro-interaction design.

Champion the user throughout the product development lifecycle using research insights, data, and customer feedback to guide decisions.

Work end to end from problem identification to delivering complete product solutions with efficiency and agility.

Build trusting relationships with cross-functional partners and engage in healthy trade-off conversations to align around a shared vision that balances user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

Advocate for inclusive, accessible, and globally relevant design practices that reflect a diverse customer base and equitable solutions.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience designing software or consumer products with hands-on end-to-end delivery.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is welcome; what matters most is your work, thinking, and ability to align your team.

Strong craft with experience in competitive analysis, user research, interaction and visual design, prototyping, storytelling, and AI-enhanced design and collaboration techniques.

Passion for product quality, continuous learning, and creating experiences that build user trust and emotional engagement.

Experience collaborating with Designers, Researchers, Content Strategists, Product Managers, Product Marketers, Business Partners, and Developers throughout the product lifecycle.

A portfolio that highlights relevant design projects, process, explorations, and outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this position is $108,000 - $186,900. Base pay offered may vary depending on location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may include a target bonus, restricted stock units (as applicable), and a full range of benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits). Details will be provided with an offer.

If hired, employees will be in an at-will position and the company reserves the right to modify base salary or other compensation programs at any time.
