We are seeking experienced Active Directory Engineers/Administrators to join our client s IT team. The role involves supporting a major Active Directory migration project using Quest Migration Tools, working closely with Service Desk, AD, and Field Support teams. This is a senior-level engineering role with leadership and SME responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support an enterprise-wide Active Directory migration across multiple domains into a single domain.
Provide technical expertise on Quest Migration Tools for planning, execution, and troubleshooting.
Act as an escalation point and SME for AD and migration-related issues.
Direct up to 5 staff augmentation resources on processes, best practices, and daily tasks.
Deliver project status updates, track issues, and maintain metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve tool, integration, and migration challenges.
Analyze logs, scripts, and errors to ensure smooth migration execution.
Support and troubleshoot AD-related issues including GPOs, local policies, replication, and identity/profile management.
Provide end-user communication and support related to migration activities.
Schedule migration activities and coordinate required manual tasks.
Apply critical thinking to identify trends and provide long-term solutions.
Work independently in an unstructured environment with minimal supervision.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven Active Directory Administrator/Engineer experience.
Hands-on experience with Quest Migration Tools (must-have).
Experience with multi-domain to single-domain AD migrations.
Strong background with Group Policy Objects (GPOs), replication, local policies.
Experience with VPN support, ACLs, and identity/profile management.
Proficiency in scripting and error log analysis.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
