Mobile Operating Engineer

JLL . The Operating Engineer supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes for mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems. This position requires the on-site presence and local travel across four properties (approximately 30 minutes total travel time). Schedule: 7am-4pm Monday through Friday plus on-call. Estimated total compensation for this position:
$25-32/hour. The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data. What You’ll Do
Complete assigned tasks that include but are not limited to: painting, pressure washing, maintaining lighting system bulbs/ballasts (as allowed by licensing requirements), plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, locksmith work and general maintenance Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete tenant service requests Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable) Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls Comply with all safety procedures Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs Other projects and tasks as assigned What You Bring To The Table
3+ years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance) Valid driver’s license Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive Strong customer service skills What’s In It For You
