As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Asset Management Group, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. As a Software Engineer Lead, you will be part of an Agile engineering team responsible for technical design and development within our Asset Management line of business. You will work with testers to address bugs or defects and propose and design solutions. This role requires fluidity and flexibility, as it is not a role with specific daily tasks. You will also mentor other members of the team. Due to the nature of this position we are seeking passionate Software Engineers with experience in the following areas. Responsibilities
Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions. Proposes and designs software solutions to address complex business needs and prepares technical and procedural documentation. Facilitates complex problem resolution. Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software. Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities. Qualifications
Successful candidates must demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role. Typical requirements include: 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience; university/college degree preferred (in lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience may be considered). Experience with modern web development using .NET 6/.NET Core and ASP.NET, with a focus on Blazor or MVC frameworks to deliver rich, interactive user experiences. Experience leading backend services and RESTful APIs, with emphasis on code quality and reliability and unit testing (NUnit or MSTest). Mentorship experience and ability to champion best practices in agile development, code reviews, and full-stack delivery within a Microsoft-based technology ecosystem. Education: Bachelors. Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $158,700.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible based on company, business and/or individual performance.
