Compensation Overview The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

Salary Range : $38,200.00 - $63,000.00

Opportunity This position is responsible for the accurate retrieval and assembly of insurance policy documents which directly impact the company's financial responsibilities and support the company's position pertaining to pending litigation, claim and underwriting cases. The incumbent must display critical decision making abilities, excellent customer focus and understand that these documents are proprietary and need to be handled with the strictest of confidence.

This position will report to the Hartford Field office five days a week up to the first three months as you complete training. Upon completion of training your work arrangement will be hybrid, three days in office and two days remote.

What Will You Do?

The role is responsible for the accurate retrieval and assembly of insurance documents from sources including HOST applications; Web applications; document imaging software; microfilm; microfiche; and paper to fulfill customer requests. This includes identifying the documents necessary to complete the policy and bring it back to its original issue state, adhering to department and corporate procedures and standards.

Work with highly sensitive, confidential and proprietary documents and information; adhere to corporate and department standards and regulations to create, edit and route electronic documents (PDF) to customers within established timeframes.

Communicate to customers, both verbally and in writing, regarding their request and provide status updates as needed.

Manage current work items through daily access to unit work queue to close completed requests and obtain new assignments.

Utilize an electronic log and production report to accurately track completed work.

Operate and maintain microfilm/microfiche equipment to create electronic files from fiche and film. Contact equipment vendor for major maintenance and/or repair when necessary.

Resolve moderately complex issues and escalate issues as required.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications / Must Have

High School/GED required.

One year of Microsoft Office experience.

One year of insurance experience preferred.

Adobe Professional experience preferred.

Knowledge of Records Management Software preferred.

FileNet Image Services and Content Navigator experience (1 year) preferred.

Experience with Minolta Microfilm/Microfiche equipment preferred.

Experience navigating HOST and Web applications preferred.

Ability to meet daily productivity and quality standards.

Ability to work independently and cooperatively.

Ability to manipulate PDF files into proper sequence.

Ability to prioritize, manage time, multitask and troubleshoot in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Strong attention to detail and quality; ability to focus for extended periods.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills to address day-to-day issues.

Ability to safeguard records and maintain strict confidentiality.

Ability to exercise independent judgment.
