Gilbane offers employees multi-dimensional training opportunities through resources such as Gilbane University to build leadership and technical skills. You will work with experienced Sr. Project Managers and Project Executives on each job site, providing opportunities to learn new industry skills daily. You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters, while demonstrating the personal characteristic of a developing leader. Responsibilities
Use deep scientific research methods, statistics, machine learning, causal inference, and AI to study the business and deploy analytical solutions that optimize outcomes. Develop data-centric solutions, build stakeholder relationships, solve business problems, and educate stakeholders on analytics, AI/ML processes and capabilities. Identify critical drivers of predicted outcomes (variable importance) and guide business actions; partner with business SMEs to enrich model insights, improve performance, and ensure user adoption. Mine various data systems, clean and structure data, develop data pipelines, and improve data quality in the enterprise data environment. Partner with Data Engineering and BI teams to deploy models and insights into production. Develop causal inference / explanatory path models to help business understand drivers of key outcomes. Work with stakeholders to ensure understanding of models and implement business process changes based on model output. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree; PhD desired; Master’s at least required in statistics, data science, economics, psychology (research/experimental) or other quantitatively focused fields. Deep knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, machine learning, data mining, feature engineering, causal inference, and scientific research methods. Strong skills in SQL and Python or R. Excellent communicator with PowerPoint and presentation skills. This position can be performed remotely or from any U.S. location where Gilbane has an office. Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience. The pay ranges from $141,600.00-$226,600.00 plus benefits and retirement programs. Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package including health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan. A pre-employment substance abuse test is required.
