Overview
AI Engineer - Telework Oppty! with Security Clearance We have an immediate need for an AI Engineer. The AI Engineer will work closely with system and software engineers to design, prototype, and integrate AI advancements into the existing architecture. This is a transformative position focused on building solutions that augment human intelligence, streamline workflows, and enhance the overall effectiveness of intelligence operations. Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of AI-driven solutions from conception to deployment, ensuring seamless integration with the existing software architecture. This includes prototyping new models, writing production-quality code, and maintaining existing AI systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system engineers, software developers, and domain experts. Present and articulate recommended AI approaches, discussing tradeoffs and implications with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) on diverse datasets to inform the data model, identify data quality issues, and determine optimal input formats for AI models. Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models, ensure performance and reliability, and implement robust testing and validation strategies. Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML and apply new technologies to improve existing systems. Have experience with AWS and MLOps tools for deploying and managing ML models at scale. Clearance: Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline; four (4) years of additional developer experience may substitute for a Bachelor\'s degree. Minimum of 6 years of software development experience. Salary range: $101,996.00 - $219,107.00 (Annually). Note: Range is not a guarantee of compensation and may vary based on experience, location, and contractual requirements. Other requirements: Active TS/SCI with polygraph. About Praxis Engineering
