iMethods is seeking an
Epic Application Manager
that will be responsible for leading, developing, and supporting teams across Epic ancillary applications to ensure the seamless operation and optimization of ancillary workflows. This role provides strategic direction, technical expertise, and hands-on oversight of both staff and vendors to drive issue resolution, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. This will be a hybrid position with onsite requirement. Responsibilities
Directly manage teams supporting Epic Ancillary modules (including but not limited to Radiant, Cupid, and Beaker). Mentor team members and ensure consistent professional development. Oversee workload distribution, performance management, and prioritization of tasks. Participate in interviewing, evaluating, and selecting candidates for open full-time analyst positions. Help build a cohesive, high-performing team aligned with organizational goals. Serve as the primary point of contact for revenue cycle vendors and consultants, including Epic representatives and third-party solution providers. Oversee onboarding, engagement, and performance of vendor resources to meet project and operational objectives. Apply deep Epic expertise to troubleshoot and resolve high-priority and complex system issues impacting revenue cycle performance. Ensure accurate and timely resolution of post–go-live ticket backlog across all revenue cycle workstreams. Work closely with the operations and leadership to support operational workflows, maintain compliance, and drive process improvements. Serve as a liaison between IT, operational leadership, and ancillary application teams to align system capabilities with business objectives. Minimum Qualifications
Previous experience as an Epic Analyst; preferably in Ancillary applications such as Radiant, Cupid, Beaker, OpTime, Anesthesia, etc. Five (5) or more years of experience managing Epic Ancillary Application teams in a healthcare environment. Experience serving as a manager for an Epic implementation and/or post live. Proven experience resolving complex technical and operational challenges within Epic applications. Strong vendor management, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance competing priorities. Seniority level
