Software Engineer Level 3 or 4 - R10209924 at Northrop Grumman. The Payload and Ground Systems division within Space Systems Sector seeks a Software Engineer to join the Aurora Software and Digital Engineering team. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain secure software solutions in a classified environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and optimize software performance. Maintain code quality and conduct regular code reviews. Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes. Support application deployment and sustainment in physical and virtual landscapes. Work with Linux and Python development; collaborate with team members across programs to support mission-critical programs. Basic Qualifications
Level 3: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of related experience; Master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience. Level 4: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8+ years of related experience; Master’s degree with 6+ years of related experience. Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance required at time of application. Must be willing to submit and pass a CI Poly after starting work. Proficiency in Linux operating systems. Hands-on experience with Python and Git for version control. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Go/C++. Experience with Kubernetes/Docker. Experience with AWS. Compensation and Benefits
Primary Level Salary Range: $110,300.00 – $165,500.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $137,400.00 – $206,000.00 The salary range represents a general guideline; actual offers consider factors including responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and long-term incentives where applicable.
