The Opportunity Everyone is trying to “harness the power of the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As an experienced cloud computing and DevOps architect, you know how to take advantage of cloud capabilities. Here, you’ll oversee our team of experts and use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to guide your clients as they modernize their Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We’re looking for someone like you to help evangelize and architect a multi-cloud solution helping support the DoD.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in cloud to architect, build, and deliver multi-cloud solution components.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders and lead your team to deliver and scale the right technical solutions for the DoD, including modernizing legacy platforms and applications or building new ones, and leading continuous integration and deployment.

Lead, build, and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission within a DevOps framework.

Have access to internal Azure, AWS, OCI, and GCP labs to explore different approaches and solve client challenges.

You Have

7+ years of experience in cloud architecture with cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, and Google Cloud in FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments

5+ years of experience leading multi-disciplinary solutioning for cloud-based efforts

Experience leading architecture for large engagements, including legacy and cloud system deployments

Experience with end-to-end cloud solution architecture, design, and deployment

Experience architecting and implementing highly-scalable, available, and fault-tolerant cloud-based solutions and cloud-based development

Experience leading DevOps teams and implementing automation tools and processes

Experience providing technical guidance to other architects and engineers

Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions, network architecture, and security principles

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
