We’re seeking an experienced Data Governance Analyst to strengthen our enterprise data governance program. This role will focus on identifying gaps, roadblocks, and bottlenecks in current processes, while helping to implement scalable governance tools and frameworks. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in metadata management, data quality, and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong background in building data glossaries, dictionaries, and indexes. Key Responsibilities
Analyze and improve existing data governance processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for enhancement Develop and maintain enterprise-wide data glossaries, dictionaries, and indexes Support the implementation and adoption of data governance tools (e.g., Monte Carlo, Atlan, or similar) Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure governance alignment Conduct stakeholder interviews, gap analyses, and process audits to drive governance maturity Document and communicate governance policies, standards, and best practices Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or data quality roles Hands-on experience with data governance platforms (Monte Carlo, Atlan, Collibra, Alation, etc.) Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data cataloging Excellent communication and documentation skills Compensation and Benefits
Compensation: $55/hour to $65/hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
