Job Description: The System Analyst - Integration Analyst plays a critical role in designing, analyzing, and validating integration solutions that support business operations and data movement between critical applications and services such as MuleSoft, APIs, operational data stores, FAST, Salesforce. This role bridges business and technical teams by defining integration workflows, validating data accuracy, and ensuring seamless interoperability across systems. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze integration requirements, including data flows and system interactions. Design and maintain data mappings between FAST, MuleSoft APIs, Salesforce, ODS and other data sources/destinations. Develop and execute test cases to validate data transformations, integration logic, and API responses. Analyze API specifications, data models, and ETL processes to ensure accuracy and completeness. Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues. Utilize SQL and data analysis techniques to validate data consistency and troubleshoot integration issues. Support production monitoring by analyzing logs, tracking errors, and ensuring data quality using tools like Kibana and AppDynamics. Create and maintain integration documentation, including business rules, transformation logic, and data validation criteria. Support developer design, configuration, and maintenance of Salesforce integrations with internal and external systems, ensuring data integrity and seamless information flow. Perform ongoing Salesforce administration tasks, including user setup, security management, workflow automation, and regular platform updates. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and product owners, to ensure successful integration deployments. Provide post-deployment support and impact analysis for integration changes. Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in an integration-focused role, such as Technical Analyst, Integration Analyst, or QA/BA in an API-driven environment. Strong understanding of API integrations, particularly with MuleSoft. Experience working with FAST platform integrations and life insurance data models. Proficiency in data mapping, SQL queries, and ETL processes. Experience in Salesforce integration and administration, including configuring, maintaining, and supporting Salesforce environments. Familiarity with Salesforce data management, security, automation tools (such as Flows and Process Builder), and integration tools/APIs. Familiarity with testing API requests/responses using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar. Experience troubleshooting data and integration issues using log analysis and monitoring tools (e.g., Kibana, AppDynamics). Knowledge of QA methodologies, including test case creation and execution for integrations. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and data flows. Strong analytical skills with experience in data validation, transformation, and reconciliation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams. Bonus Skills:
Experience with SAFE Agile methodologies. Knowledge of life insurance or financial services industry processes. Experience with API security, governance, and error-handling best practices.
