Overview
Kforce's client, a leading retail services company with several major operation brands throughout the US, is searching for a Senior Reporting Accountant to work a hybrid role in Westborough, MA. This client is fast-growing and offers a strong benefits package which includes health insurance, 401K with match, flexible spending, etc. This role will work 4 days in office and 1 day remote per week.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts
Analyze fluctuations in balance sheets and identify underlying causes
Lead regular meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss accounting-related updates and potential issues
Serve as a subject matter expert on accounting systems and processes
Assist with preparing financial statements
Compile audit schedules and review data prepared by finance
Review contracts for accounting implications and communicate findings
Respond to ad-hoc internal and external requests
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA or tracking for CPA is preferred
3+ years of public accounting experience
Strong technical skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
