Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Overview: We are representing a prestigious private equity firm with a strong track record in real estate and alternative investments, seeking to hire a Head of Financial Reporting to oversee key accounting functions across the management company, partnership accounting, and fund coordination. Reporting directly to the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO), this high-impact role provides strategic exposure at the intersection of investments, operations, and financial reporting. The firm is entering a period of expansion, presenting significant growth opportunities for leadership within the finance team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of private equity accounting, experience in high-growth environments, and the ability to collaborate across multiple business lines. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role at a leading investment firm. Responsibilities: Prepare and review quarterly and annual fair value financial statements in accordance with GAAP, including using dividend income and equity methods of accounting and assisting with complex consolidations of real estate funds. Coordination and review of property level reports from Starwood Asset Management. Prepare quarterly cash flow reports. Prepare investor capital calls and distributions. Prepare investor reports and respond to investor’s questions. Prepare and review debt covenant compliance reports. Prepare tax general ledgers and other schedules needed for tax accountants completion of returns. Prepare and maintain waterfall models in accordance with partnership agreements. Maintain cash balances and manage sources and uses at the fund levels. Qualifications: BS in Accounting. 2-3 years accounting experience, financial reporting and general ledger; real estate industry experience a plus. Strong understanding of Accounting systems/Yardi experience a plus. Self-starter with proven ability to multi-task. Authorization to work in the U.S. Seniority level
