Overview
The Plant Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting functions within the plants. This includes budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, inventory management, and supporting plant leadership with financial insights and analysis. What Makes YOU Successful:
Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting. Coordinate the external audit process and act as the main point of contact for auditors. Oversee and enhance standard cost accounting systems. Analyze manufacturing cost variances and report on material, labor, and overhead trends. Collaborate with operations to maintain accurate inventory valuation and cost standards. Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes. Provide financial analysis and support to plant operations and corporate departments. Develop KPI dashboards to monitor performance and drive operational improvements. Supervise and mentor accounting staff. What YOU Will Contribute:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred. 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within manufacturing, multi-site or global manufacturing operations exp preferred Understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing operations Seniority level
